I have a Alltel Blackberry 7250, and I opted NOT to get internet service. I do not have the Blackberry desktop stuff because I have a mac computer that doesn't support the program. So, using the handheld only, how do I stop the emails from coming??! I also want to delete internet icons from the home screen… how do I do that?!?!

The other answer is completely wrong.

To stop the emails, you need to go to the blackberry webmail service provided by Alltel, and change the configuration. I am assuming you have email redirected from your regular email account. If you have an email address of or something similar, then that can't be turned off - just stop using it and tell people to stop emailing you at that address.

To remove icons from the blackberry, scroll to the icon you want to hide, hold down the ^ key (whatever its called, the one to the left of z/7), and click the scroll wheel. it will give you the option of moving the icon or hiding it.
