I am so sick of junk emails how can I block certain people from emailing me. also is there somewhere to report the advertisers who do not have opt out links? Don't they have to have those?

It depends on your email server. Most have an "options" button where you can add their address to a llist - but it only stops that one address. Yahoo also has a "Spam" button that does the same thing and also reports it to them, though I doubt they do anything with the info.
There is no way to completely eliminate junk and spam. I've found that the best solution (works in Outlook, may work in other email programs) is to have my email automatically delete any email that doesn't come from someone in my Contacts list. I may accidentally lose a useful email, but it does automatically clear out all the junk and I don't have to look at any of it. I have Outlook set up to automatically clear out the Deleted Items folder when I exit.
Also, NEVER click on an "opt out" link in junk email. These links don't actually opt you out — they confirm to the spammer that your email address is valid, and you will actually get more of it.
