PLEASE 'SCUSE CAPS & ABBREVIATIONS–CUZ OF DISABILITY–EASIER TO TYPE–THANKS!

NOW VERY DESPERATE–NO YAHOO HELP RESPONSE… CK'D ALL I CAN–IS THERE ANYONE ELSE W/ THIS EXPERIENCE???

FRIEND'S YAHOO ACCT WORKS FINE ON MY PC & ONLY HAS TO VERIFY PASSWD A COUPLE TIMES.

CHANGED MY PASSWD & PUT A SECURITY SEAL ON… NO CHANGE!

I BELIEVE PROBLEM BEGAN W/ POPUP: "CONSUMER GIFT …" FOR FREE $500 WALMART CARD (ON YAHOO IN MY EMAIL PAGE). SURVEY DECEPTIVE, AFTER I HAD ALREADY GIVEN EMAIL ADDRESS & OTHER INFO. OPTED OUT WITHOUT COMPLETING "OFFER". I MARKED A BUNCH–ALL– OF THEIR "OFFERS" SPAM THAT CAME IN MY EMAIL NEXT DAY & REQUESTED NO MORE EMAILS FROM SAME.
SINCE THAT SESSION, WHEN I ATTEMPT TO LOGIN, TAKES PASSWORD, BUT ONLY SCREEN I KEEP GETTING IS THE VERIFY PASSWORD SCREEN.
ALREADY ATTEMPTED TO FIX BY CHANGING HOW LONG (HOURS, DAYS OR WEEKS) CAN SIGN IN. HASNT MADE A DIFF & THAT, & HELP & HERE ARE ONLY PAGES I CAN ACCESS.
SEEMS IT'S SOME KIND OF "TOGGLE" THAT'S STUCK! THANKS!

There is a possibility that the page you are trying to sign into isn't actually the official sign-in page but a template which has been viciously installed into your computer somehow.

Try downloading and installing AVG anti-virus and running a scan. It is free for home use and I've been using it for 11 years without any virus problems. It automatically updates whenever a new update comes out without you having to do a thing.

The great thing about it is it NEVER expires and is 100% reliable. I have spent thousands of hours surfing on the web and everytime I click on something or try to go to a site that is maliscious, a GIANT popup notifies me.

You may think your anti-virus program is okay. That's fine. It won't harm you to download and try AVG. It may pick up something that your anti-virus program doesn't.

Worse come to worse, you can just uninstall avg after running the scan.

Another tool you can try is Tuneup Utilities 2007. It is multifacited and free to use for one month. After the month is up, you can continue to use it however it just takes longer to load. This program is AWESOME and you will LOVE it!
