This funny looking new page–doesn't even show all the email–there are so many things bunched in the left side–that the important emails run over the edge and you have to move the spacer to the side to see what email you got. I want my old page back.

   Sounds like you got updated to beta mail instead of classic. There's an option at the top of the page (I think on the right, but could be left) for classic mail.
