Where is my email id and password stored in my comp?

When ever I log in any site with my username and password I am given an option to remember the name and password on this computer. If I opt to remember by ticking the check box where does these contents get stored?

Go to your IE, choose "Tools" then "Internet option"
Under the General tab, click the "Delete cookie" and "Delete temporary files"

Your username and password will be saved as a cookie (usually). To actually find the file with the information in it would require you to go inside you hard drive and the temporary file folder.
