I wrote my own program to send out emails it was easier. However you have already made a purchase and there is a simple way to solve this.
First in you setup someplace there should be a setting for your
SMTP server name.
Use your ISP's. Now the caveat of doing this is that they generally restrict the amount of mail you can send in a day.
Ex. Time Warner is 750 emails in a day.
You may have to break your list down to 650-700 and do it on consecutive days if its large.
The second way is to simply use your clients website mail server. They only need to set up a simple account for you to use:
and give you the USER/PASS they set you up with and the name of their SMTP server. You should also get the POP server name also and ask them if you will need any Authentication.
It's usually mail.yourclientswebsite.com and again set up that info on your email program and also set up that account on your computer in whatever email program you use.
The caveat of this is that some ISP's block you from using any other SMTP server but theirs. You would only need to test 3 or 4 emails and if they all failed to send you can bet that this was the problem.
Finally if getting client cooperation is a prob you can either set up a website, if you don't have one, and use your own server. You don't actually set anything up only your email. Maybe down the road you can put a website together if you want but it's not necc for this.
I think Godaddy is registering website for 1.99 for .INFO ones. Since its a shill account anyway the name and ext mean nothing.
