I have an auto detailing business in Washington D.C. We've been in business for 15 years and I would like to get the word out about our gift certificates for the holiday season. We have a great internet presence and I do advertise the gift certicates online but the only way someone would find out about them is if they typed in auto detailing, washington d.c.,gift certificates. This doesn't happen often. I need to find a way to hit my target audience. I would really like to get an e-mail list for my surrounding area.

I have opted to be notified by email when I recieve answers to the questions on this site. Even when all my questions have been resolved, I still get 6 or 8 emails from Yahoo saying that I have new answers. What's up with this?

when i get any new answers, i have asked 66 questions and recieved over a thousand answers i have never recieved an email telling me i have a new answer does any one know why?

I can log in to my yahoo and everything like that except for my email, I can not open it eventhough I've already tried with many different ways, and I followed these steps :

here's the situation:

we send out a mass html email each week for our business (they are opt-in not spam)

in the past we used to a mass email program but stopped this past november when a test made us realize that the emails might not be going through.

so we switched to simply using the BCC field in outlook

before sending this week i tested it with my email directly as well as the BCC field containing my company's catch-all, which is forwarded to me too

i should have received 2 emails, one directly from em and one from the catch-all that was BCC'd. the catch-all from the BCC field never comes through. i tried this through outlook and also through our hosting company browser based mail. neither has been successful.

any idea what might be causing the BCC's not to be sent or not rec'd. roadrunner is our ISP.

I own a flower shop, and I email a monthly informative newsletter (it's an opt in list–these people have asked to be on the list) with flower care, a monthly flower recipe they can do at home, history of a different flower each month, quirky holidays list with dates, etc. I also send out 1-2 additional emails each month to promote a sale or something. Compared to others in my industry, I send a fraction of emails (some send 2-3 each week), yet only 14% of recipients open my emails each month. I try catchy but not gimmicky subject lines…one month the newletter's subject line was, "Debunking Floral Myths–Why Mouthwash is Bad for Flowers and More". Any hints or tips as to how to get more people to open the emails? Thanks!

i am a zero techie, first time subscriber to blackberry.am confused if to buy a blackberry phone like the Pearl or the Curve or if I could use the Nokia I am so comfortable with (E90 Communicator) after loading suitable software to enable blackberry services on it..will i lose anything like speed, ease of handling or anything at all as an email user if i opt for the nokia option?thanks mates
